The Cigna Group Recognized for Excellence in Employee Well-Being and Mental Health

https://newsroom.thecignagroup.com/the-cigna-group-recognized-for-excellence-in-employee-well-being-mental-health

Holy cr-p. How bad must the competition be, for Cigna's employee well-being/mental health approach to be award-worthy?

I guess folks are literally working in open fire pits and randomly bullwhipped everywhere else?

“ Whiny bi--hes like you come and go.”

The fact that you felt ok posting this to another co-worker says more about the toxic culture than anyone can defend.

I think an important point is that things have changed a lot in 15 years.

I've been here for around 10 and honestly have had a pretty decent time overall (not including the downward spiral that I started to notice around 2022). I think it all came down to being lucky with the teams I've been on and the managers I've had.

Currently though, things seem to be declining at an alarming rate. For someone that started within the past 3-5 years, I can completely understand the view that everything about this place is a nightmare.

" I use my 28 days of PTO each year and take Advantage of programs.

Cigna paid for my Bachelors degree. I have been blessed with great leaders
And mentors."

Didja find that degree at the bottom of a cereal box? "Advantage" and "And" are incorrectly capitalized. A bachelor's degree holder should know better.

Leads to questions about where else you are doing slipshod work.

oh wow. one anecdotal story of rags-to-riches covering almost 15 years automatically means today's cigna is commendable on their employee mental health and well being. gotcha.

Nice to see you poke your head out of your pit after all this time.

So, if you've been with Cigna for almost 15 years, you clearly are poorly-positioned to compare Cigna vs other enterprises. Oof.

I'll take the rest of your effluvia for what I paid for it, and nothing more.

Toodle-loo!

@10k+1jttwxj67 scared of what… I’ve been with the company almost 15 years.

I’ve seen many initiatives, leadership changes, and rounds of job Eliminations.

I started as a band 1 and am now a high band 4. I make good money and have good benefits. I use my 28 days of PTO each year and take Advantage of programs.

Cigna paid for my Bachelors degree. I have been blessed with great leaders
And mentors.

There is good and bad everywhere. Whiny bi--hes like you come and go.

Still waiting for that follow-up. Just so many positives that it takes more than four days to list them all? 😆

Big bad talker but scurried like a cockroach when slightly challenged.

It is no surprise, cigna HR is touting their award status based on an illusion of cigna employee well being…

The Business Group (HR Consulting Firm): This organization provides top-level human resources expertise on an as-needed basis. Their services include designing and presenting training for hiring, promotions, and terminations; navigating leave of absence and benefit laws; creating consistent workplace policies; resolving workplace conflicts; and succession planning. They aim to assist businesses in managing HR challenges effectively. 🤣

I’m sure they’re not pandering for corporate business.

Lol, these lists all work the same way. Companies just pay them to get included on them.

Hey now, don't forget most of us lost 4 days of rollover PTO, an extremely employee-centric decision which wasn't at all about reducing balance sheet liabilities at our expense.

You've got rigid RTO mandates, consistent cost-cutting while strongly profitable, gaslighting and self-aggrandizing SLT behaviors, nagging anxiety over constant trickle layoffs - what more could any employee dream of?
