What is the IT cut if we’re eliminating agile and the chapter model? And moving jobs overseas on top of that? Seems like more than 20%.

A large percent (>80%) will be USA employees, because they are adding employees in Manila, India, and Buenos Aires to backfill the US jobs. This is a blood bath, decimation is only 1 out of 10.
All the support functions will be decreased HR, IT, Finance, and all support in the BU's ... with a June start date of layoffs. Holy Cow!
Keep in mind the expats are not considered US employees.
This will stink for the employees that are let go and will be horrible to support if you are one of the employees that remains. Customer Service will take 2+ years to recover.
I am thinking of working as a conultant if I get $hit-canned.
I am more confident in working with a CVX US employee than with a fake Agile IT conultant who graduated in a laundry pack... Money is not the only the single parameter to consider.
@a5+1jkxscd5t I see people from Buenos Aires attending meetings and quietly absorbing. They hired a ton of people there in preparation. Don't know the actual numbers though.
I’ve heard from multiple people that Manila and BA have already hired a lot of people in preparation for work moving from the US. Does anyone know the actual numbers hired there?
Remember, ENGINE staff will be CVX employees so that doesn’t count when they lay off thousands US IT employees and move them to India.
who mentioned 50% in SETH?
it is a 15-20% employee reduction globally..
So They can still cut a much larger % in US workforce and hire tons in ENGINE and overall count is only 15%…
so yes…. the question is what % of US workforce will be cut
50% from what he mentioned
