RTO Report- ask away

I got sent screenshot of my office report after I was told I wasn't making it in the required amount of time. (I had an approved exception for some time January, which wasn't factored into the report making it look like, I haven't been in the required time).

4 hrs of pto counts as a day in as do holidays.

Ask any questions you may have!

There are managers in Florida who are 100% remote!!! seems RTO doesn't apply equally.

So many lazy pieces of sh-t working at this bank. And this post is a microcosm of that.

All of you basically asking “how can I get away with doing less than the bare expectations?”

SMFH. A bunch of fu--ing b-ms at this bank.

@d0 this is not true- where do people come up with this stuff. Literally not how it works

@dj I assume by network connection. Not all buildings have a swipe out.

The report does have two *

  1. Work locations- based on badge and network connections
  2. Visits may not match the 'Days in-office/travel' count shown above

If I have dedicated space, and my office PC is always on the network, how are my in-office hours calculated? Days in office, I assume, are determined by badge swipes.

@b1+1kjx7zht7 PTO only counts towards the week it is taken. So PTO days in excess of 3/week do not get factored into your longer term average.

Does it have to be 4 hours? what if you book, say, 2 hours PTO for a doctors appointment

@a9 the guidance PDF says it’s an average for the week.

@bk The standard report OP is talking about doesn't track WFH hours, only in-office hours and days.

So how does the hours worked fit in? For example, if I do 7 hours on my RTO day but 9 hours from home does it average out to 8? Or does it have to be 8 hours average in office and 8 hours average at home and they are separate?

Just track yourself in excel on a 4 week average. I’ve done 4 x 3 , 2,4,2,4 weeks with 5 then 1. I’ve never had a problem. If you keep 4 weeks clean it will always be clean

@b1 it appears to be a rolling average, so if you are taking 3 weeks of pto, I wouldn't go to the office at all the week before or after and you should be good.

How often is the in office requirement met/measured? Is it quarterly? Monthly? Say I have most of May (say 5/1-5/21) do I need to show up in the office for the remaining days in May? If PTO days are counted as in office, then during the 3-week PTO, my in office days are 15. If m LOB requires 3/week, I would have fulfilled 12 day or give or take 15 days. This is so d-mb, but worth investigating. Please chime in. Thanks

approved exceptions have to be in writing if they are under 2 weeks (email) or if over 2 weeks need to go into workday. If you need to be remote for a month or longer (say, recovering from surgery) that goes up a couple of levels for approval and then you are removed from the office reporting as “out of scope”. Anything under a month the reporting isn’t impacted so heed the words of warning elsewhere on this thread - get your approval IN WRITING.

@ag correct. There are days I worked 4 hours at home, then took 4 hours pto and it's showing as a day in the office.

@OP To be clear, if I work 4 hours from home and the other 4 hours is PTO then that day I worked from home counts as a day in office? Also, where on Teamworks may I find this information?

@a9 it says 'time in office'. Mine says 8+

Do you need a minimum of 8 hrs per day? Or would an average of 8 hrs per day over 3 days qualify? For example: 7.5 hrs, 7.5 hrs, 9.0 hrs.

@a4 there is a drop down for them to select a period of time. Not sure all the options but mine is showing 12 weeks.

Average of 2 days. But again, it's not factoring in my approved exception.

Is it a continuous rolling calculation or set dates?

What number were you at that triggered the non-compliance notice?
