I’m currently at work checking email and nothing from the ceo but I am in wireline fios customer service but I thought that email would be sent out to all of Verizon I guess not.

“Management employees” isn’t a reference to position, more that you are directly employed by Verizon proper, even those in the lowest pay bands are classified as “management employees”

@a8 no no, what the “management” employees mean is how we are coded in the system. HQ jobs (finance, HR, marketing etc) are listed as management employees, not so much our titles.
Dan wants to be customer centric, so customer service can’t be touched… if anything increased

@a2 I know we are not impacted we spoke with Union when the rumor first came out and they said they didn’t alert anyone because it wasn’t about us and also they said if it was then it would be alot different at Verizon and I don’t what that meant but ok.

@a3 I got the email when he brought on his PayPal co-worker. I typically get all emails from
Hans when he was onboard so I don’t know.

@OP did you set up a gmail filter to send inside Verizon messages to spam? If not, I highly recommend it
Wireline tech here, I also didn’t get the email. I didn’t get the email about the second PayPal hire either. Maybe because we’re not impacted? Feels like wireline is getting forgotten.
@OP interesting… so maybe customer service isn’t in the 13K and it’s only HQ employees.
