Management are kite flying, so as not to spook the shareholders. It is likely it will be greater than 15k when all is done for the first round, but at least the shareholders won't run off screaming and may get behind Dan's grand plan. Just understand employees are just tools and the only value is coming from the shareholders investing.
The guy denying earlier either wasn’t in the “inner circle”. Or the communication strategy shifted 180 within a few days.
Verizon lies instead od 15 000 employees lets just look at 100 top earners in management here that bring zero dollars in. Im not worried i am union and i dont make 6 figures but I do bring in the numbers that will change. keep your employees happy we are also customers with families and we will promote you. Do not and we wont very simple most execs also get verzion things free while the majority OF EMPLOYEES pay for them
All DEI hires should be laid off. They did not have the skills for the roles and help to ruin this company

@a9 so as the numbers of people come forward the confidence is there will not be a overwhelming number of blk/ brn layoff’s unless they were ALL of poor WORKING standards? Correct?
Moving forward, the forthcoming RIFs will not sanitize nor level the playing field at Verizon. The costs of an employee and their value-add is what will be rule as keep or go..
Everyone is expendable!!! So the inflection point being who at Verizon can do the work for lowered salaries + STI + 401k employer match and other variable factors.
