@1a0 all of the above. COBRA prorated for six months, 14 days pay per year of service with a minimum of 28 days, and prorated AIP to be paid in the spring.

What severence package are laid off people getting? Do they pay prorated AIP and pay for cobra or is it just 2 weeks per year of service?

Not even a week later and we have 3 new directors from India. At this rate the entire company will be management within a year

I knew HIS was going to get dismantled the minute I saw Bryan. I was forced into retirement in 2024. I have a new job with a lot less stress and a great boss. Praying for all those impacted by this.

@ex Are you sure about the AIP? The link the Resources document for AIP says that there will not be a payout unless you're laid off after the amount was calculated but before the payment occurs. My understanding is that we will not be getting AIP payments.

@es unused PTO will be paid. AIP will be paid in March for 11 months. Medical will rollover to COBRA. Unsure on COBRA coverage or prices.

@ec what are some of the whole teams you have heard being laid off?

@ej 182 days. If that's pay dates, then it's 38.4 weeks. Not bad but still not enough given those with 30 plus years who hired into a venerable and beloved 3M that cared deeply for employees and innovation will find a bleak job market for being over 55.

Bryan and his fancy new hairdo can afford to give up half of his 40 million to feed the unwashed masses that he has shamelessly dismissed with a swipe of his pen. He can still chum around with Peltz and Bill Brown at the Florida yacht club.

The guy came in with such hope and now maybe even worse than the guy carving up 3M into lots of little pieces. At least 3M stock is soaring.

@aj Severance pay - for every year you worked you get 14 days of pay. The max amount of payout is 182 days.

@e0 this round doesn't seem to be performance related. Whole teams are being laid off and/or restructured. There seems to be some reprioritization going on and anyone that doesn't fit the bill is let go to make way.

Has anyone identified a pattern with the selection criteria? I know a few people, long-term and close to retirement age who were let go.

@b9 company wide too my knowledge. Some happened last week. I was impacted, not in HIS. Tough when India is 6:1 when compared to US staffing.

@ap one would think Bryan could dip into his 40MM and pay better severance that than. 35 years at least gives time.but who is hiring any 62 year old.

@aj 14 days per year of service with a minimum of 28 days if I wrote it down correctly. I joined at the spin after my last layoffs so I'm only getting a month.
