The financial hit is best to be taken in this fiscal year. I would expect 10/28 for the cut date. Just guessing but where TI is already doing work, redundant departments would go.
Hopefully the over bloated manager, L6, L7 and director level are thinned out. Too many “leaders” with too few reports.
Nothing to add except the unknown is the worst. I'd like the bandaid to be ripped off now.
Going to spend my day working at a leisurely pace, doing a brain dump of what I will do if I get let go (to give myself a false sense of control) and spend some time trying to focus on calming my nervous system.
I have been here a long time and the reality is it really su-ks to get laid off (happend to me once, was hired back) AND it su-ks to feel like you "survived" by the hair on your chinny, chin, chin (also has happened to me more than once). One might have a job but it will certainly come with more work, survivors guilt, the stress of the team figuring out what is next, etc... both paths are hard (of course one in a more obvious way).

@OP I heard a rumor that you can figure out if you're about to be laid off by looking at the timesheet for the week of November 3rd to 7th. Apparently, if you can't submit your timesheet during that week, it might mean you're at risk of being let go. I'm not sure how accurate this is.
I hope they dont do layoffs now and risk missing SLAs during peak season.
@a4 I think I heard next Tuesday, the 28th. It's 60 days out from the end of the final 2025 pay period.

I heard there is an officer meeting on Wednesday to give them a voice-over of what will happen. If that's true, it will most likely be next Monday, 10/27.
This is what I am curiois about. They moved demo day to tomorrow so I am inclined to think it'll be next week?
