There have been several posts on the Hess verdict with many claiming with certainty that chevron won or lost. For those with such claims, please provide some directional information as to where you are getting this information without divulging the absolute source.

@a4 You get an F in reading the room. Between Exxon's post arbitration weak release thanking the arbitrators and Chevron saying "we'll close in 48 hours" - it was obvious who won. Today bore that out.
Is that going to impact any of your decisions lol
It'll come soon
We're all just speculating based on things we see and hear
@bf or I'm bad at picking up on sarcasm... idk...
@bf do you all really never pay attention to corporate news? Of course. ExxonMobil have also been publicly very confident. Someone's gotta lose...
EB was interviewed by Reuters news about two weeks ago and she was quoted saying she is confident the merger will complete. That is pretty "B@llsy" if it's not true.
@OP you all know that if anyone "knew" and didn't disclose such a material matter, lawsuits from securities fraud would be coming right?
I’m an Hess employee, and from what has been going on this week, every employee knew the merger went thru, Hess/Chevron won. I’m 100% sure
I dk about you folks, but I’m about to be popping back Tallboys in Wyoming - Anonymous
@a5 Are all staff privy to this information? My source at Hess has no knowledge of this.

@OP You're not going to get a valid answer here. The people who are involved in arbitration and merger dealings have all signed NDAs (which frequently come with performance or milestone bonuses), so they are not going to be on this site leaking info to the rest of us. Everyone else is just talking out of their ar-e....
@a5 goes back to the OP’s comment, where are you hearing this info? No source info included so seems like you are just jumping on the “Hess won” bandwagon.
BS. Hess won. Got it confirmed at the weekend.
So far they have been making stuff up and also reading way to much into the Chevron preparation to close within 3 days of the decision coming out (trying to say that those preparations mean the verdict was in CVX favor when they are simply preparations). All of it made up cr-p. We have to wait for the actual decision.
