@OP Apparently, they are now working in the kitchen, cooking up the books.
Good riddance. Senior leaders had stupid DEI metrics which the incompetent thy easily met and got paid millions.
Instead if the goals were growing business and revenue, most of these execs would have failed and fired long time ago.
It’s not just ‘judging.’ Hiring and promotions were primarily based on gender and race for the last five years. If you didn’t meet the checkbox, you were automatically outside consideration.
Turns out, judging people by their race or s-x is discriminatory, by definition. Who'd have thunk it?
The DEI squad will not let go of this topic easily, it's bread and butter!
@c4 sooo… media is the devil and an angel, when convenient for you?

@be huh?
This has no basis in fact.
Maybe they are finally recognizing their own hypocrisy. They talk the talk yet don’t walk the talk.
@a4 not to mention the morally questionable aspect of tying VP compensation to hiring targets by race and gender..
Why do they waste money on wrong advertising all the time? They need to shut up and just sell shoes.
To the surprise of no one. All companies are abandoning DEI because it was a bad practice that was ineffective at best and downright harmful at worst at improving business performance. This was a good decision by EH.
