Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

I learned not to care about layoffs

There’s nothing I can do about being cut. Performance is the least important criteria for layoffs, so I’m not jumping through hoops in order to keep my job. I know it will not matter. I’m doing just what’s expected of me, and I make sure I’m doing as little overtime as possible. When my time comes, I think I’ll actually be relieved.

Sometimes the leaders RIF staff out of jealousy as well - especially when they see your salary and bonus.

If your boss does not like you, expect to RIF'd. I have seen really smart and motivated people being RIF'd by do nothing managers.

Ya I was kind of ticked when I didn't get an 1130 invitation on Monday. I just need this to be done, but I want my $$$ on the way out.
