Thread regarding T. Rowe Price Group Inc. layoffs

April Outflows - 10.6B

USD10.6B outflows in April alone. What the helly!

Do you think lazy RM teams marked those client accounts as vulnerable?

@bn funny how you don’t respond to any factual questions. Calm down and play some soothing music on your iPhone. (Yikes… It’s made in India)

@at Yep like clock work - an Indian coming to downplay all of what is happening and act like they are so much better. You get hired because you are cheap labor, and you can't even walk in and hit the ground running - you have to be trained for MONTHS. So spare us this "Xeno" bullcr-p. It will likely take you a year to make what one of us gets in severance one we are done training your inept sobs. H1B workers get slightly more, and even if they get close to what an American would make you still do not get all of the benefits employees get and they will work you harder because they know the last thing you want is to go back to India. We see you crying on Reddit about long waits for Visas all the time. Take good notes from the Americans who are attempting to give you a shot at keeping these jobs.

@ar the largest companies in this business have the biggest Indian payrolls. BLK has a whole division there and Fidelity has over 2000 employees. Apple has “foreigners” all over their manufacturing and nobody seems to mind that. So your argument doesn’t hold.

Perhaps the problem you’re treating this as a government job…given your comparison. And with the same urgency and dedication. lol.

And yes, foreigner is code for brown. Nobody is that naive to believe you.

@aj Citizenship and race are two totally different things. Calling this racism is off base.
A lot of people actually care if people with no loyalty to our country get access to their personal and financial info. That’s exactly why government jobs with sensitive info require you to be a citizen. I’m not saying this is that serious, but the concern is legit and has nothing to do with race.

@a3 only special id--ts can turn even the most businesslike question into a xenophobic rant.

Do you think any client gives a rats behind what color their dB admin is? Lazy racists like you give everyone a bad name. You don’t speak for me.

Well it is wonderful to see their big spends on a fancy new building and spamming Orioles fans with Trusty have paid off. Well-done! Maybe Americans don't want foreigners having full access to their PII and life's savings? The won't pay that no mind though. They'll grab their Magic 8 ba--s and find out what group is losing their jobs next.
