@a9 I recall being notified that returning the laptop and cardkey were required to get the severance.
@a3 I was in Sept RIF and one thing they don't tell you is until you send all assets back to Oracle they will not issue the funds which took 4 weeks after last date to get box to return and it was a smaller group of RIFS . I feel for all of you and it will get better I was at Oracle for 25 1/2 years when it happened
max is 26 weeks. eg. you worked 5 years, then first year 4 weeks, the next 4 years you get 4 weeks, altogether 8 weeks. simple as that.
What does that number of weeks mean? For example with 26 weeks, does it mean that you get ~7 months pay as the severance package?
I got RIFd this morning and my severence, in the US (CA), is 4 weeks for the first year and 1 week for every year after that. I had 31 years so I maxed out at 26 weeks You can't get over 26 weeks..
