Retiree medical not addressed? Did the company use a "neuralyzer" on the union?

Last year company/union talks broke off supposedly over the raise in caps for retiree healthcare. Now we have a tentative contract where the info just released does not seem to address this issue at all. Did the company use that memory erasing device from the Men In Black movie ("neuralyzer") on the union? I guess we all just have to work until Medicare eligible, and then pray that they don't take that and SS away from us to give more tax breaks to Elon Musk and the other multi billionaires. Is anybody out there actually representing the working stiff?

@f1 the union IS it's membership. You pay the dues. You make the rules. You don't oppose the leadership, then you're complicit. You don't get to weasle out. It's union members blatantly sc--wing each other over period!!! Own up to it, cucks!!

@ek The new hires did get sc--wed but make no mistake it was the union that sold you out not the members. The union sold you out because they didn’t want to pay the membership the strike fund. If we don’t go on strike I will give you three guesses on who gets to keep the money and the first two don’t count.

This is what we get …we hire lazy people (the union) to negotiate for worthless employees (not all ) but you know who you are. / You know the person that’s afraid to leave because they’d actually have to work for a living /
Yeah, if this offends you, that means you’re one of those employees

@a3 I believe that it is not fixed and can still go up every year. As a matter of fact the way health insurance has been increasing, you should expect and plan for it to go up a certain percentage each year. This went from the issue that broke off the talks last year to the issue that was forgotten about in the tentative contract. How is that possible? 😠😠

You take the hits because you are smarter than the average bear and choose to be unrepresented. You negotiate your deal. We will negotiate ours.

No freaking union guys su-k. The other groups are losing people and you want more and more and more. I think maybe you guys should take some hits to feel the pain the non union employees are feeling.

You mean the those who are part of a union; who praise being in one, aren't getting everything they want and will have to handle retiree insurance like management? Blasphemy!!
