I got a sparq notification that I was assigned a BSL. I checked all my other team in sparq profiles/org chart and no one else has this person listed. could this be bad news?

This happened to me last year. The BSL assigned was the same one my group already had. I suspect it was just some normal HR fu-kery occurring due to a restructuring higher up.
The only time I deal with BSL is when I need to order supplies. I don’t think they have anything to do with HR functions.
Yep, my paranoid a-s started noticing this happening for a year or so too. Nothing related to layoffs.

@OP BSLs can edit their profile to display the business or individuals they support. Maybe they selected you by accident?
