What do performance bonus ratings result in?

If a 3 rating is 20% bonus for band 6, what do 4 and 5 ratings get?

@ee this is true, managers can only define ratings but they don't know what the personal percentage equates to per rating. They also didn't know that they wouldn't be able to define personal percentage when they were to set the rating.

@ba Yes managers have discretion within the range for the rating. The 100% is jut the corporate modifier. That's what you are eligible for, not what you will receive. And yes, it's convoluted because HR makes it that way.

What are you talking about with the numbers? Is that the manager discretion? I thought if we're getting q00% that means we're getting 100% unless your manager discretion determines you get more, though why wouldn't you have just been bumped up to the next highest rating? But does resting even matter for sti payout? Why is how we get paid one of the most convoluted and confusing things at VZ?!

It doesn't work that way. A band 6 is funded at 20% of their salary. So if your salary is 100,000 your target is 20,000. Then the score is applied to that. At a score of 100% that would still be 20,000. Then the rating determines the range you are eligible for. The higher the rating, the higher the range. The ranges are the same for all bands. For instance

Rating of 1 & 2 might have a range of 0-80 % of target or 0 - 16000
Rating of 3 might have a range of 80-90 % of target 16000 - 18000
Rating of 4 might have a range of 90-100% of target or 18000 - 20000
Rating of 5 might have a range of 100-105% of target 20000 - 21000

These are made up numbers, not the actual ranges, which can change from year to year based on funding.
