Saks Global Enterprises, facing limited options ahead of a more than $100 million debt payment due at the end of this month, is considering Chapter 11 bankruptcy as a last resort, according to people with knowledge of the situation.

@a3 Richard Baker, real estate guru wanted NMG is our greed and ego. He’s shut down Hudson’s Bay, Lord & Taylor.
The man is using the Robert Campeau and Eddie Lampert. Focus on real estate, neglect retail operations, Saks hasn’t been paying vendors on a regular basis in 3 plus years.
I hope there a white horse to save Saks Global and Mr Baker needs to go.
