It seems there might not be any layoffs from the general pool of people with the exception of those that took the VSP. VH didn’t address it and it seems the company is well position for the future. What’s your take on the townhall? Have you heard any rumors of any upcoming layoffs?

Yep, I'd stick to my numbers. There may be some high fliers making more but as a number to discuss in relation to executive pay or the outstanding debt, having this staff leave only benefits the professionals not Oxy. Try selling the GOA or DAC to reduce the debt. Stay tuned in 2026.

You haven’t been operator of choice ever. That is just some silly phrase that doesn’t carry any weight. The term “Low Cost Operator” used to be true and that is where Oxy used to shine.

@a3 yes Vicki usually reserves some time for Q & A. There was none of that today. We learned that Richard Jackson like sports and went to Texas A & M. While Vicki lobbed one softball after another to Richard. I think they are probably warming everyone up to the idea he is the heir apparent to Vicki.
If thirty highly paid well experienced employees take the VSP ... $500,000 x 30 = $15,000,000. The VSP is a drop in the bucket. Large scale asset sales and massive redundancies are required to right this ship. You are foolish to think that this is over... Safe till the new year...

The fact that VSP/headcount wasn’t mentioned at all and they skipped Q&A and ended 15 minutes early felt like the loudest part of the meeting to me
