I thought the report of a “leader” sacking a whole team on Webex was the most disturbing. Then the worst came in later, when I heard someone fainted after being told and had to have an ambulance called for them… this should have been handled much better.

@a3 and the other 14+ folks that liked the comment. Your EQs are really low, and you may have inclination entering into NPD(google it). Better see a psychiatrist and get examined and treated before you impact people around you.
@a3 It baffles me that people are upset about not only losing their income before the holidays but also their health insurance.
I just have NO IDEA why someone might be upset about that. I could NEVER understand human emotions.
So which C suite or a boot li---r is this? "Dan! Look at me! I see your vision! Pick me!"
Everyone has been applying for jobs since RTO. Look at other boards on here. It's not just Verizon.
@a3 WSJ article with the number was posted maybe a week ago? What were we supposed to do to prepare for this?
@a3 you're either a troll or complete mo--n not to get how people would be upset about getting laid off. Especially in this economy. That's like a doctor teling someone they might have cancer. Then when they get the results back confirming cancer, the doctor tells them not to be upset because they warned them.
I am tired of them calling themselves "as your leader"....telling everyone to follow them only to be the first to bailout when things go south.
Why tf would someone faint? The new CEO literally came in and said he was laying off 15,000 people.
You have to be a fool to retrieve that information and feel like you could not be touched.
It was literally all over the internet. When an announcement like that is made, everyone should have been searching for a new career at a new company immediately.
It baffles me that people are upset and mad; especially when they received a heads up.
