Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Gunjan town hall in Chicago

Only way to protest and let her know she’s shamed the bank employees and there is no turning back is to skip the town hall. Who’s with me?

@132 So this is a form of communism regime tactics forcing people to show up to the dictator Gunjan town hall or you’re fired?

@ht skipping wont accelerate your layoff but it will likely move you closer to a performance plan. Best of luck!

I’m declining the invite. Hopefully that accelerates my layoff and severance. I want the bronze parachute in exchange for claims release. Feel bad for those not in my fortunate financial position.

I’ve found that all these Indian leaders are the same. How dare you peons in a lower caste even exist?

She won’t ever recover from that horrible performance the first time around. That toothpaste isn’t going back in the tube.

@a3 As your leader Gunjan says, you should make a friend and stop being an ungrateful angry ba----d. Your leader. Not mine.

@a3 another ridiculous response from you. Andy Insincere seemed to be a disingenuous, cr-ppy leader. But at least he didn’t so openly disparage and belittle all the bank’s employees. Recognizing this difference does not make one s-xist or racist. It has nothing to do with those things, except in your delusional mind.

@a3 did you...listen to the Q2 earnings call? If you haven't, you should. There is no faith in her. The questions and follow-ups were laced with skepticism and then basically going "ya ok, but actually no". There is damage being done and the upticks in revenue are coming from laying off people. Wall Street isn't stupid and they see right through all of it.

I’m not going. She will eat her words. This is supposed to be a leader? What a joke.

@a3 She degraded us and laughed in our faces. I add you to my list and pray you go down with her.

Will she fly on a private jet to Chicago or drive her Ferarri? https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-07-08/u-s-bank-s-new-ceo-gunjan-kedia-has-a-plan-to-win-over-shareholders?embedded-checkout=true

@a3 Or, I don’t know, maybe Andy didn’t say that our concerns were nonsense, we were being selfish, and if you have low morale you should make a friend.

Fully scripted by McKinsey, zero expectations in the Chicago market, it's a safe play to give the new face of the company some cushy gigs and softball questions, in a controlled secured environment where obody gives two hoots about USB and their tyrannical leader in this environment.

Did you do that with Andy? The analysts openly called out that he was bad for the strick performance. If you didn't do such a thing when Andy was the CEO then maybe you are a s-xist and a racist, fellow human.
