I found out my manager gave me a 1.7% rise despite knowing full well I’m on next to nothing, legacy staff here.

And gave an ex grad nearly 5% on the last pay review despite me having a much better appraisal rating.

I wouldn’t consider myself old. But it seems the system looks after some better than others. And it’s not your contribution to DXC.

Make that make sense!

why would the manager give you anything? You’re not gonna leave you do your job somewhat. You get paid the salary. If you don’t like it and stop complaining and do something about it leave find a new job.

They now want us to get together - but only at our own time and expense of course. I've not met some of my colleagues. I wouldn't know them if I passed them in the street, and I'm quite sure they or I will be long gone before this changes. The company cannot justify blowing thousands on bringing everyone together and I sure as know they don't want half the room shouting we want a pay rise.

I don't trust a word I'm told by this company. Even when they promise or threaten something it doesn't happen. Login, logout. Your pay will be the same. They don't like people who tell em how it is. Just keep your mouth shut and ask for more information if pushed to deliver. It won't come, so you can get another month's salary while waiting on retirement.

@a3+1jsf9epst thats the Steve Broc ki-l hurst school of mismanagement.

He 4ucks over people, takes thier raises and gives them to others. Just because his incompetent and he cant get pay raises for them.

Then comes on a call and lies that he has managed to get promotions, and few weeks later he will say on a call promotions are on hold.

His the most devious lying manager in DXC.

And that’s precisely why DXC is so fu---d up.

They can’t even measure contribution to their core business properly when it comes to pay. But simple math is complicated for DXC so it’s far easier to divide the pot by the staff and fu-k the rest.

But in fairness to them they also can’t measure contribution when it comes to cuts too. More often than not they go after the best staff.

My manager gave everyone the same rise. It didn't matter how much you busted a gut. Nor if you stopped doing anything useful years back. I joined the can't be arsed brigade following that.
