Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

WHY IS THERE NO COMMENT FROM GK?

Dude you orchestrate these layoffs every quarter and you don't have the decency to make a comment or justify your decisions. These are REAL LIVES that you're impacting. They need to have a layoff at the csuite level.

Too busy at an offsite with the C-suite practicing a tear and a swear word for the all hands. Also no doubt living it up and toasting their own genius while getting/selling vast amounts of RSU we bleed for… Maybe they can throw a few crumbs from the table to us minions…?

RE: WHY IS THERE NO COMMENT FROM GK?
It's all about the transparency bullsh-ts - treating everyone like kids with Thrive Together. While he pocketed just 13M recently. That's the reality -- all these CEOs are all in it for the money. All the sport / zen sh-t is just talk talk talk.

@a2 "people will start leaving on their own"

Surely you jest. Anyone still at Netapp is there (a) to su-k that t-t before retirement, or (b) incompetence and knowledge that they are unemployable anywhere else.

Folks in India need to be informed.. but that’s not an excuse. Gk has more than overstayed his welcome, time to get a new ceo instead of firing more ics

@a7 is right, there will be a company-wide email saying it was a tough decision, but we still need to produce and keep our eyes on $10b. Labor laws outside the US are stricter with notifications and all that stuff.

There won't be a wide broadcast until after it's over. There's still more to come.

It's because every quarter he has his shares on auto-sell to cash-out right at $1M, and he has over a decade worth left to continue this process. He could be canned tomorrow and retire happily into the sunset. He doesn't feel the need to explain himself to anyone.

He can be lured out of his mansion with some retired football player throwing ba--s with him for 500k per hour. He won't be bothered with the problems of the plebs.

Gk is in the board. If Netapp is a body than csuite is the cancer. They just want to grow there net worth at all cost to the body and that’s there only interest. I have seen some incompetent ceo but boy oh boy George is utter most garbage tier. I hate Elon musk and it pains me to say that he is still a better ceo than gk

Agree 1000%. GK has the spine of a jellyfish. The fact there is no company wide email going out first thing to prepare and bring some humanity in advance of all the meetings, side conversations and online chatter like on here is pathetic. He's overstayed his welcome and no amount of fist pumping, his cute little swear words about Dell and Pure are falling on deaf ears. The Board better wake up as this incompetence cannot continue or more people will start leaving on their own because this place is so poorly managed. Not to mention when Cesar came onstage at Converge...you could hear a pin drop. He has lost all credibility and trust of the team.
