What's your take away from the US Town Hall? Observations

@e7 I'm already nervous, these are the kind of small projects that keep piling up and make the company paralyzed down the line. We don't learn from other failures.
@e1 completely agree with your assessment. Imagine the amount of money being poured into this project now. What are the strategists thinking? one year tops and we will find out how costly it was for so little ROI.
@a9 Clearity is basically a copay plan with a digital “cost comparison” wrapper that is an attempt to compete with United’s Surest product. I don’t see any long term future for this type of product and we’re already hearing about clients who moved to Surest a couple years ago getting huge rate increases - because that copay/no deductible model isn’t sustainable.
Also, Clearity is being run on the Allegiance TPA platform which, as the person below pointed out, should make everyone nervous.
If we’re counting on Allegiance to save the Cigna Healthcare (US) business, then it’s definitely time to get the resumes ready. That business is a mess and is completely un-scalable. I’ve worked with them on some large accounts and they basically have hamsters running on wheels behind the scenes.
@b2 No RTO was discussed
Any RTO talk during this town hall?
That was a wrap, the last 30 minutes Q&A was the most interesting. Brian H. answered the questions directly, not in circles like the others. For example: IFP business - no JE in May, will give at least 60 days notice before JE, will try to limit the number of eliminations during summer. Translation: IFP might all be gone before EOY or fall.
Is there any additional JE for the remaining of 2026 now? he said "vast majority was done by Feb 26" and now they're looking into IFP.
Evicore? not clear but that is something they are going to sell or divest as they try to reduce exposure to politically contentious functions like prior authorization and its legality, and we might hear who will buy that business before EOY as well.
Allegiance is the new business it seems, Shankhar is leading it. He said he was only on the role for 6 months.
I don't know what "CLEARITY" means but it was mentioned multiple times I assume it's related to Allegiance project and integration.
Great session!
