And yet, we know that loyalty is rewarded with a layoff sooner or later. I saw some truly great people let go, and I have zero motivation left. What’s the point?

@ch yup, they laid off so many people and in our meeting this week, they were like oh yeah we can just onboard someone and theyll be good to go with just a few weeks of KT.. yeah so what the he-l was the point of laying off 3/4 people that knew the system.. 1 person left to do the work of 4.
@e2 Good luck with a PIP when an employee doing the bare minimum still outperforms the HIH hire.
@e2 wow its true. The worst seniors and managers are left behind.
@dk even better. We will manage your a-s out via PIP and not have to pay severance
They can expect whatever they'd like. What they are getting from me is dead weight disengagement with a lousy demeanor. Such a shame if they don't like it...
@d0 wouldn’t be surprised if it’s actually paid audience. Do they even work here
@ck I know, I don’t care though. The severance isn’t even worth it anymore. I don’t like the way Cigna is treating us, given that, i’ll take my talent elsewhere. Started mass applying last night, will continue to do so until I land into my new career.
@OP you’re left to do double the work, correct the mistakes of the HIH team, compose instructions for the work you do, all while training your Indian replacement.
Don’t forget to do it all with a smile and remember, no matter where your teammates reside in the world, you’re all one big ‘happy family’.
I can hear the cringe applause during the next town hall already. The pageantry behind the town hall is one of the oddest things I’ve ever seen.
@cf that’s what they want and many are in the same boat. Our leadership is a disaster and I genuinely don’t know what they do besides make ppts. They are still here and those of us doing the work and handing them the materials for their ppts are all gone or demoralized beyond comprehension.
FACTS. Until they realized they sc--wed up and have to hire new people.
I wasn’t laid off but after that last wave, I’m job searching, hehe

@b3 malicious compliance should work.
they actually want you quit because of the extra work and stress. Then you wouldn't get severance pay or benefits of a JE. Then it'd be much easier to replace you with your HIH counter part. Either way, the big corp wins
I wouldn't stick around. The best workers usually find jobs elsewhere.
@a5 they meant they’ll reduce severance or not offer it at all in the future. They’re saying this is the last opportunity for decent severance before he-l breaks loose in the next round of layoffs
@a4 History repeats itself. And as expected people having to train their replacements for severance.
they reduced the severance? What is it at now?
@a2 Why do you think they reduce the severance? Do you have insider info??
They expect us to re-do all the work that the Indians do wrong … they mess up and we clean. Humiliating
Truth, and certainly with a reduced severance package if any at all, feel like we missed the last decent boat the rest of us are just here to keep the walls from falling in before the collapse. Nearly every one of the good ones are gone, this isn’t a company concerned about the future, quality of customer care or us.
