Now that we know about layoffs, are there RTO changes?

@a2 I was told by my TL that "it seems" that the "hammer is dropping on remote employees," and that if USB believes that the job can be done, either competently and/or legally, offshore, then it's being moved to those places too.
Somewhat rumor-ish, but at least coming from a manager perspective.
Have not heard anything about RTO changes. The only thing that seems vague in these layoffs is if there is a strategy or target on remote employees as part of the layoffs. I keep hearing rumors that certain grade levels and team leaders are getting mandated as in office. What continues to be unclear, at least this week, is if that’s part of what’s happening right now in the layoff pool
