Thread regarding Edward Jones layoffs

Exit interviews?

For those laid off, did anyone get an exit interview?

I was ISP'D and was not asked for an exit interview. I find that strange for a large company.

If you had an exit interview, what exactly would you tell them that they weren't already anticipating? If I recollect there was an employee culture survey maybe a month before I was let go. I thought to myself, "well, that is pretty damn near tone deaf to offer this up to me." I just figured to let old dogs lie.

I got my severance, they paid me well for my vacation, and I was blessed enough to find another place that wanted me and the work looks rock solid and interesting.

While Jones paid well and there are some great employees, I think I'm going to be much better off mentally overrall. Best wishes to you all and good luck to those whom are still seeking employment.

I was ISP’d. No exit interview. Penny and her goons don’t care what existing employees think. Why would they care what people think who they just stabbed in the back. Got a 3 month paid vacation (WARN notice), about a half year of pay of severance, went back to work somewhere new with a 30 percent pay raise. Thank you, Penny, for your failed leadership. It could not have worked out any better for me. Just wish it would work out just as well for everyone else released.

Noo just an exit guard to watch you carry all 3 of your awards in 10 years and family pictures in a paper box. If you had 20 awards in 10 years you would have 2 guards help carry your boxes to the executive suite. Not you!

@ad lol they don't care what existing associates think, no way they will care what exit survey says. This is a place where the surveys rake upper management over the coals and the response is to A.) Not show the results, B.) Cancel future surveys, C.) Punish everyone at the company collectively. The beatings will continue until morale improves!

@aa life has definitely been better since I quit. Better hours, better hybrid policy, better pay, way healthier culture. There are truly better options out there than just staying at Edward jones.

My job was eliminated with a 60 day notice. I wasn't given an exit interview and noone in upper management even reached out. The only ones to reach put were the "hatchet" people from the "execution team" to tell me the job was eliminated out of the blue.

@a2 they don't don't do exit interviews for people that quit. I put in my 2 week last month. I got a short survey, rank this on a scale of 1-5, type thing. No where to type additional comments. It was totally worthless and showed that they didn't care what I thought or why I was leaving.

@a4, how's your life been since you quit? Did you find something you liked? Is the grass greener on the other side?

I quit a while ago and didn’t get an exit interview. I only got a short survey & form to fill out. I was disappointed.

They typically don’t do exit interviews for someone like an isp. Maybe VSP or if someone puts in a 2 week notice.
