I work in one of the VCG departments. I can’t share specifics because we were told to keep this private. But SDs and ADs were pulled into a meeting with their VP and notified their teams are all safe. Similar meetings are happening all across the org this morning so you should likely be getting an update soon. If you don’t hear anything that might be a bad sign…

How about all the VPs and SVPs under Frank B in VCG - did any of them get impacted?
I guess everyone who is safe knows by now then and the rest of us just need to wait for the call

I’m in CMO and my SD was in a similar meeting this morning. Same info as others are sharing. Our team is safe but others in our department are not
Can confirm this. Also an AD in VCG and was brought into a meeting with my VP earlier. They let us know that our team is safe but others in our department are not so we shouldn’t say anything until tomorrow when those teams are notified.
If you or your manager have not been brought into a meeting today, you should probably brace for the worst.

So if I haven’t heard anything I am not safe? Is it because the people that are staying already know they are safe and only the people who they are going to let go doesn’t know anything?

Not true because 4 market presidents were let go and so are several VPs. Stores will be closed or sold off, SDs and Directors for retail are being let go. You cannot say VCG is safe
Part of the reason why this company is in the sh----r is cause of all the id--ts like OP. “Because this one instance is true - therefore it’s true across 100k employees”. Basic critical thinking skills are missing.

Not to be that guy but safe for now.. after the big reorg (they always do during these) as an excuse to put more workload on everyone to make up for the losses. Then another RIF sometime in the future ( the track record doesn’t lie) I know the market is tough but damn. Wishing everyone the best!
