I have a question, is engineering sc--wed(SWE)? At one of the main locations, recently got promoted, and am a bit worried. In early career, hired as a college grad.
I been at the company for over 30 years. I saw when they brought in DEI and foreign support. Under Hans he added multiple layers of management. Then when he got rid of 80 percent of USA support, customers started leaving in droves. It started taking over 6 months to complete an order. And when a customer has an outage the overseas group has no clue and will wait 3 to 5 days before sending a tech or engineer out fix the customer outage. It's always the American workforce to go first when the issue is the contractors outside the US. They don't give a cr-p about efficiency, service nor any customer.

You and me both bud. Also hired as a SWE last year. The fact they relocate us to lower tax bracket states is enough. Big fat layoffs year over year. Best of luck to the all of us. Our manager gave us nothing but a "even we don't know" in a meeting today.
