Thread regarding Paramount Global layoffs

I don't feel safe

Yes, I survived this round but I think we all know this is far from over. I'm supposed to feel relief, but here I am, already thinking about the next round and still unable to sleep. All I know is that I'll double my efforts to find something else, because this is not healthy in any way, shape, or form.

don't give anxiety power over you.
Accept the things you cannot change, have the courage to change the things you can, and seek the wisdom to know the difference.

You work for a corporation and one in media…so get used to it or go be an electrician

@OP Good luck but if you intend to stay in media, I'd question your ability to find another major company that wouldn't give you the same anxiety. Seems layoffs are have become the norm.

After a while slept fine yesterday night.
I am wondering is it better not tryimg to find when next layoff is and may be just get surprised on that single day than this constant pain

Be grateful you have a job and do your work. If you want to leave then leave.

Deadline reported this:

"The next wave is hitting offshore offices."

So chill out. This round hit US, next round is non-US. If it makes you feel better, look for a job. Odds are you're not going to be given the chop.
