So how long until the client find out their secret network hasnt been patched since 2022?

@a2 I think the client in question has given up on DXC. Now busy moving all work elsewhere. Continue to feed them more ammo to shoot us and themselves in the foot. The sooner we're all ejected from DXC and either let go on a package, made to reapply for our own jobs at current market rate or taken into a competitor who does at least do pay reviews - it can't be any worse, and if it is. It's the kick we've all been waiting for.
Hopefully it's not a critical piece of infrastructure......
The client hasn't asked for you to patch it. Don't patch it! Do not bypass management and suggest directly to the client it's done. Neither like being made to look stupid. It's all on support, and we make more from it failing out of hours and then fixing it than just fixing it before it happens. And that's how companies get hacked.
