Wave 1, wave 2, 1HPDC???

Those who post in wave 1 and are left standing are gone. Those who post in wave 2 and are left standing are gone. Then they have the gall to say they’ll still have a 1HPDC???!! Who will be left to post and for what positions?

Did I misinterpret HR in the Upstream call???

Pretty sure if you’re selected in one of the 2 waves you won’t be eligible to post in the PDC.

the HR rep spoke wrong: "Anyone can post in the 1H PDC".... very very unlikely that anyone selected in the first selection event will be allowed in the 1H PDC, very unlikely any of the jobs in scope 2 will be in the 1H PDC.

I believe the June PDC is designed to get the cronies job positions because some people will not have their current roles funded in the new org and they will be left standing. So the June PDC is a way to catch the cronies and place them into roles because they did not land a job in the 1st half selection process. They just advertise it like it will be a place for everyone to apply, this way Chevron has a legal safety net to defend against lawsuits.

Think about it, how can there be any jobs available for a PDC after a Reduction in workforce in May.

Ya the logic of a pdc in the middle of this escapes me. Tho I think in transformation they had more eoi than expected and struggled to fill open slots. Maybe this is the compromise. Good q to press on in the next wave of THs

Believe they misspoke there , I called into midstream and that HR rep said anyone could post on the PDC so theoretically if left standing 1H can post on June PDC.
