All of us who're still here can't even relax knowing we're guaranteed to see more rounds most likely already later this year. We've entered the stage where layoffs are a part of the norm, unfortunately.

You are a bunch of young consultants making cold RIF decisions they learned from college, and never bothered to understand the critical path of subject matter experts and their significance of the pillars of the business, then what you get is this clusterf**ck of a process.
I wish for the best to those who remained. But please keep looking now. That place does not care about people or Hughes’ business.
@af because hughes isnt a competitor. The last information I got told was that Hughes is 2-3 years behind the likes of Starlink. Now you have Amazon getting in on it.
@a2 I don't think Starlink or Amazon even consider Hughes as a credible competitor.. <500k customers is nothing compared to Starlink's 10m+ customers
@a1 the layoff targeted specific experts and architects. This was not done to keep this company running. Charlie is hands in glove with spacex to make it collapse on its own and file chapter 7.
Obviously the morale is low and I am sure everyone is interviewing and ready to get out.. there is no fun in keeping the lights on kind of job, if one finds a better option outside... how is the left over management keeping the morale high? Who is the current leader/head?
