@a9 Sadly what you went through is a very common thing . The smart dedicated worker who always says the day (lol) Having their ideas stolen by other people.
You do the problem solving and save the day, the Boss gets the credit and a bonus.
When I worked their some people use to call me the miracle worker(lol) I was the person
everyone in my department came to with problems. I was the one assigned to train and mentor all the new hires. I thought I would never be let go but sadly I was after

Had my regular 1-on-1 meeting with my manager this morning. With reorgs lately, change of leadership and being laid off before; I thought I was a goner, but surprisedly nothing happened.
Still on the edge of my seat though. In 2020, I was laid off unexpectedly. I was a AVP picking up majority of the 2 VPs responsibilities. I volunteered and come up with strategies for my manager each time our team was at a standstill. I thought I was safe from loosing my job, but no. My manager and one of the slacker VPs kept their jobs because they took credit for my work. I got rehired and working for another team but have never felt safe since coming back.
