When can we start outsourcing the mgmt of projects away from GP? Our LNG projects are a disaster and the VP is definitely part of the problem. Just like the VP (JP) several years ago.

Apparently the key to a good ranking in GP LNG is to force your contractor into bankruptcy, blow your schedule, and exceed your budget. Bonus points if when you start up you can’t achieve nameplate capacity!
GP LNG is a joke. Clueless and poorly led. Do not listen to their people. Head in the sand when issues are raised. Geniuses didn’t see the bankruptcy coming or didn’t do anything about it on Golden Pass. Then rewarded those who caused the problem for « dealing with such a challenging situation » when it came annual assessment time.
Golden Pass has been around for what almost 15 or 20 years now? And has done nothing but lose us money. What a joke. Spend gold and should have passed!
Remember that time when EM spent billion$ on an LNG import facility while also investing billion$ to make the USA a surplus natural gas producer?
Amazing understanding of supply and demand on the EM Executive Committee.
Then later remember how EM took so long to understand the need for LNG exports that many companies built their LNG export facilities before EM?
Multiple examples of stellar leadership and proactive decision making.

Global Projects is truly woeful.
The VPs that caused some of the biggest project disasters were promoted to Sr VP. No one around to tell the tale but look no further then the new Sr. Pres of Global Operations and disaster that is Golden Pass.
