Try to relax, if you can. I can’t. I still have a job, but the last month really took a toll. I feel deeply for the people who were let go, and I wish them the best of luck. I can still pay the bills, but surviving this round doesn’t feel like a win at all.

@a1 You are NOT a failure. You are one of thousands who fell prey to the Hatchet Man’s cost cutting measures. This is your opportunity to show your family your strength and resilience. It’s OK to feel lousy right now, and you are in good company and that respect. But keep the faith that you will get a new job and land on your feet! In the meantime, spend quality time with your family and loved ones. This is so much more important than a stupid job.
@a1 I’m so sorry. Feeling the same. The job market is terrifying. I know I am complaining but it’s literally all I can think about.
I can't. Family is downstairs and I am in my bedroom "getting ready". Just sitting here doing nothing but worrying about the future and how I failed the people I love downstairs.
