There are no management positions posted on the job board. This time the RIFs do not allow you to look for something internally. If you’re out, there’s no positions to look around for. The only positions posted as of Friday were in retail stores. I’ve never seen this before, it makes things final.

@a1 I know this is hard to imagine, but not all departments are laying off, so open req's still need to get filled. Freezing ALL openings on principal, when that team wasn't part of the cuts, is not "smart" in any conceivable way. It's stupid. If anyone is about to claim "principle", principle is driven by ego. There are ways to articulate one's self that thinly veil gross prejudice and favoritism as "fairness", and it seems there's not a lot of you who can pick up on that.
@ax how many times are you going to switch companies, and never get to experience the milestone benefits such as increasing amounts of vacation? Just keep working for that same 2 weeks a year, eating cold bologna on white for lunch, and commuting 5 days a week because "you didn't want to stay at a company that didn't value you" as if that was a tangible, bill-paying currency??? The actual fu-k? LOL
They were all gone at the beginning of October shortly after Dan took over.
Why would you want to stay with a company that doesn’t value you enough to retain you? You may have to reinvent yourself, but walk away and never look back.
It's been frozen from the beginning of September. I applied to a position back in the beginning of september and it's still there in my profile as "in progress". There is no open positions today, none.

Internal postings are usually a joke unless you've been "steered" to a particular opening.
It's been frozen for a while, outside of the countless daily retail postings. Surprised to see that even India and Phillapines are not posting. I saw 2 positions in the UK in Friday

This time is different. In the past there were some RIFs that weren’t as big and there were times people were able to find other internal jobs. Not this time! This time is totally different - they are gutting everything
All jobs got frozen and eventually canceled recently. I mean why would you hire if you are RIFing people
