Anyone who was let go willing to share what the severance package ended up being?

@a5 Right, it's not as if it's GOOD for employees to know what other employees are getting. Much better to keep everyone in the dark.
Sheesh. Anyone laid off is in this together. Knowledge is power, and lets others make informed decisions.
Hourly's get severance, from my past experience with Target. 60 days of pay - which means your normal paycheck every other week and then 1 week of severance pay and then 1 week for every year you were there - that is for HQ anyways.
I wasn’t laid off, but the package is likely to vary by level anyway. 5-6 or maybe 5-7 get same. Probably a bit more for 8, and then golden parachute for VP.
@a5 even if it’s a journalist I think it is helpful for people to know, like I wouldn’t want to join a company that I know could just pull a mass layoff on me and I not be taken care of as the risk just wouldn’t be worth the reward.
When I was let go in 2015 I actually ended up making more money that year by getting let go than if I kept working and I thankfully found a job by late December so I really made out well.
I know people at least are on payroll until Jan 3rd which should also cover things like healthcare for that time, but I’d hope they are giving everyone more than just that.
just a heads up, this is probably a reporter angling for information. nothing wrong with that, just be aware if you choose to respond. source: former journalist here
@a1 depends on the role - HQ or store/dc. HQ did in the past for some roles.
Curious, do hourlies get severance? I assume not.
