EV sales are doomed when you and your neighbors stop subsidizing them

So Farley admits EV sales are doomed when you and your neighbors stop subsidizing them?

@gk it could, I even say it will, eventually, or Ford will not exist. Problem is, estimates where taken from the аss, affordable EV will not be available for 2-3 years, no hybrids really to choose, not a good position to be in.

What was said in 2022 could still happen. Maybe slightly delayed is all.

We haven't even debuted the next-generation Model e products and services, including the affordable small BEV.

Don't count Ford out yet!

@e2
Bruh, you dont/didnt have a choice. The government took your tax dollars and gave them away to EV buyers.

Have to believe there are massive job cuts coming to EV. Is sales are expected to reduce by 50%, that says it all.

If Ford had taken an internal poll about would you buy or lease a BEV it would have saved them billions. Or they could have asked me and paid me 1/20 that Farley makes and I would have saved them billions. 10% profit margin and 2 million in production by 2026. How Fartley or Bill Show their faces in public ever again on this disastrous strategy is beyond me.

Well we now know that Obama ( Sadam Hussian) fundamentally changed this Country but also Ford, and GM. LOL!

Why would anyone want to subsidize something they have no intention of buying unless they are a fool?

tales from the crypt:

The brilliant Fartley jumps on the BEV Jack wagon with both feet and cans the majority of ICE powertrain and vehicle engineering because they are not needed anymore and now kinda sorta says we were off target a little. What a load of s&@t. Bill is d-mber than I thought for still letting him be his minion.

@bx ford, nor the people working for the company, it have ever focused on humanity, look at the way we treat others…

It works this way: don’t focus on humanity or people, focus on hype and investors. Every time there’s hype, they rush into investor presentations, claim massive investment, start hiring—and then the bo-m turns into a bust, followed by layoffs. This is typical behavior of the pyramid’s top people. Nothing special. Autonomous vehicle hype, EV hype, AI hype—the pattern repeats. Only fools follow these trends. Whenever these people talk about it internally, know they are liars and deceivers, looking straight into your eyes while lying. They care about only one thing billions for themselves. The rest are just expenses and replaceable dispensers.

BEV losses are about to accelerate while Jimbo makes 25 million a year. Ford is a complete joke.

Jimmy and Billy have run Ford Motor into the ground.

Jimmy and Billy replaced most of the talented and skilled, and now we're left with arrogant, mediocre management, design, and engineering teams—most of whom expect to earn over $200K while doing minimal work.

Farley is so bad at his job, literally paid millions to speed run dumping a company

He says “Partial electrification is easier for them to accept.” Accept? How about they are a better value Jim? Isn’t that what you are supposed to be doing - offering your customers value and utility in exchange for money? We shouldn’t be accepting anything. We should be WANTING and NEEDING your product because it provides us VALUE.

Ford will go nowhere with this guy.
