People just want to be told what the plan is. The company should just quit with the management speak and tell everyone what the plan is. They want attrition right? Maybe admitting what the future looks like will help some people on the fence decide to leave.

The Objective is to improve Roce and improve net cash gen. The plan is to cut costs and improve profitable production while reducing low return assets. So, low profit areas like Europe will be sold or closed. Low profit fields in US, Europe, Malay, Australia and Africa will be sold. Low profit chem plants will be sold or closed (mainly in Europe). M&A of high quality assets will continue (pioneer). Investment in high quality production (guyana, LNG, permian) will continue. Cutting the high cost people and operations will continue (HC10 and shifting work to low cost countries). High grading the workforce will continue (cutting the bottom 10%. This gameplan has been used for decades because it works. So which category are you in???
Sh-t or get off the pot as they say
@a2 that reply was sarcasm. There is definitely a plan to get rid of as many employees and assets as possible. Employees cost too much opex and can't be sold for a profit, so why have them?
@a1 you don’t think there is one? Maybe not one they will stick to. Definitely not a good one. But feels like they are he-l bent on firing as many HC10 as possible.
Bold of you to assume there is a plan.
