Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Esso to gobble up BP

Now you will see why Esso tied our hands on HESS - so they can grab BP without competition. Poor MW. BP has the same revenue as CVX at a third the market cap. A bargain.

The new company will be more than 2x our market cap, 2x our production, 3x our revenue, 20 times our earnings and five times our cashflow. Woe are we if we can only grow by layoffs.

Shell CEO formally announced today that they are NOT pursuing BP at this time. Read it for yourself. Exxon is in the driver's seat unless Total steps up.

Apparently this is where we repeat spurious unfounded conflicting rumors here and there by unconfirmed sources (stating them as facts) since we have absolutely nothing better to do, like little girls at recess in kindergarten. At least we're not at all the least bit bothered by layoffs.

Shell are in to buy BP and they need to do it before the arbitration concludes. If Cvx wins then Exxon buys bp. If Exxon preempt Guyana , Cvx buys bp.
