I left a couple months ago and went to another company (health field but not payer) and I’m literally making $100k more a year with expected bonus. Get out if you can!

I couldn’t have said it any better “…tie your hands and cut you off at the knees” BO-M this is Elevance and even more specifically Carelon CCA…HORRIBLE. The salaries are a disgrace. I can’t even find people that will take openings on my team with the salary ranges for nurses.

I needed to work so I took a role that was 30k less than I was making in the same role at another Payor as a Program Manager following a RIF. Regretting my decision…the workload is ridiculous and is no processes for anything and everything has funding restrictions. They tie your hands and cut you off at the knees and then wonder why projects aren’t further along. I’m drained and not enjoying work anymore.

Looking at comments to this post and I am out of my league. I was so poorly compensated when I worked there. I had a lot of experience in Managed care and Medicaid but was hired at a low entry role. Never given the opportunity to move forward despite having more knowledge about Medicaid than my manager and director. a pathetic 2.5% raise. I guess this lay off link is more for employees who are upset with big salaries. What about those of us barely making a livable wage?

I’ve thought the same thing. I used to always tell people that, if nothing else, we’re paid well.

Now I see listings for the position I started at over a decade ago offering the same pay I got back then.

Can’t say I’d recommend anymore.

I was informed last week the company did a “market analysis” and I’m getting an $8000 increase in salary starting 5/19. Wonder if it had anything to do with this article.
