This place has drained all the joy from my life. I can't even enjoy my hobbies anymore—if I have time for them at all! Being this overworked isn't healthy, in any way, shape, or form. This is what happens when they keep cutting staff and expect the rest of us to pick up the slack. It's simply not sustainable.

I posted this in a different thread but thought I’d share here too. I was RIF’d early 2021. I was fortunate to find a job internally before my 30 days was up. WORST decision I could have made. For the next few years I was miserable. Working long hours, weekends, during PTO, and underappreciated. Not worth it! I finally decided enough is enough and quit! And I haven’t regretted it one bit. I took a risk, a risk that paid off. I took some time for myself to reset, and rebuild my spirit that Elevance chipped away at, day after day. And guess what, I landed on my feet in a job with TRUE work like balance. I gave Elevance 15 years, working my tail off for them, and found out the hard way that you’re just a number. THEY DON’T CARE about how hard you’ve worked or how many years you’ve given them. Sad but true. I know not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to take time to reset before jumping into another job, but if you can, I recommend it. Don’t be afraid to put yourself first. You deserve to be happy and appreciated.
@OP... Many of us are in the same boat as you - hard decisions have to be made. Your life is out of balance. Once you allow a job to consume every part of your life, you have lost control. You have to figure out how to take back the control over your life.
Already looking , they can have the offshore people clean it up , since they are the ones making this mess
