Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

CMO is out. What’s next?

The CMO, Suzy Diprezio just announced that she’s out. The marketing org will report to Wade Rakes beginning 1/1. Is this a sign of more executive movement ahead?

Its all being run by a private equity investor Quentin Koffey of Politan Capital!! All PE wants to do is fire and put the money into their pockets!! There will be no platform modernization, no member care programs, no growth -- just pain, austerity measures, and more pain!!! buckle-up!!

Suzy was being pushed out for all if this year but they had no one to replace her -- almost all Fortune 500 companies have a Marketing Officer. In addition to London & Drew. Alice Chen, Chief Health Officer, & Kim Hendrickson, PHCO, seem like a skit from d-mb & d-mber when they talk! Can't believe they are a physician and nurse respectively, and neither have any managed care experience! Par for most if this crop of Execitives -- very feckless!

My old director sited the same reason before jumping ship to a new organization because she was skipping over ALOT of compliance processes just to get her numbers. Those contracts would be back to bite us 6 months later.

@OP+1q8xJajB She's been at Centene for over 2 years and hasn't done anything. What marketing programs did she create or change? Nothing, Nada, Zilch. Michael hired her, but she accomplished nothing. She collected a fat check for 2 years and no progress in Marketing. Why is there even her role?

Now with Wade and Susan they have "the perfect team" , for about six months that they decide to change directions again because as usual everything will go to sh-t, and they need new " leaders", the actual new leadership needed is a new CEO and a new CFO and new president, those 3 are milking the cow and doing nothing other than throwing blames.

“Too much travel” is a very peculiar excuse. She’s been in the C-Suite for years and surely understood the commitment. Rumor is she wasn’t thrilled with other leadership changes happening above her.

Too much travel and not enough family time was sited as the reason. Hard to believe.

Same with Bruce Lee. "Decided to retire" on 1/1.

7 Figure Severance Punch I'm sure

Centene is bad for anyone, executive, regular folks, pure excr-ment with Sarah and Drew in charge.

She was there only for the money. Did not give a fu-k to anything, Centene is very unstable.

Severance package to keep her mouth shut, she never cared anyways despite being a veteran, was only there for the money.

Sarah/ Drew money grab, those two are the demise of Centene

Sounds like a planned exec transition. She's getting a massive severance surely. Probably unrelated to any layoffs.

1/1 seems abrupt. I’d be curious to know what’s going on beneath the surface. Did any other execs make similar org announcements today?

Was she pushed out / “encouraged” to resign or stepped down on her own? 1/1 seems very quick for stepping down on your own…
