Do not expect to be adequately rewarded

I think it's ridiculous when people, after spending so many years here, still expect that they will be adequately rewarded if they invest more effort. How naive! Isn't it already clear to everyone that this is not happening here? I would like to knew the percentage of those who feel adequately rewarded for their efforts. It's probably negligible.

People only stay at DXC because it's an easy life. There is very little useful work being done. There's a set of people so up themselves with paperwork telling us we're all busy, but those people don't tend to stick around long enough to deliver anything. The remainder have taken 2nd jobs or slipped into semi-retired long ago. If the company expects better it could reward people - but it chooses not to. So it gets what it pays for. Salary restoration is never going to happen. The company hasn't noticed. The clients don't care. So don't expect things to change, until it all finally falls apart. I thought that would have happened long ago, but somehow we're all still here!

Goal setting will be followed by merit increases.

@OP+1nENo0MT “I would like to knew the percentage “ should be “I would like to know the percentage “

Maybe that’s why you don’t get merit increases

It’s actually not ridiculous to think that you’d be rewarded for working for a company for so many years….

What’s ridiculous is that the company just isn’t doing it!!! And also trying to normalise it too!!!

It’s absolutely not a ridiculous notion to expect to be rewarded for your time, energy and hard work at all!!!

The company needs to buck up and stop funnelling all the monies to its executive team!
