How is your severance being calculated? there seems to be a difference between legacy SS&C and DST severance payouts. Are you getting one or two weeks for every year served? is HR pulling the numbers out of their @$$?

I heard SS&C did away with severance so decades wasted.. if word got out of no severance their would be a mass exodus leaving.
I been here almost 2 decades and i feel nothing but scathing hatred for ss&c. wish i would get laid off. been trying to find another job but two weeks pay for every year here will be a nice chunk of change
I wish i was laid off, my severance would be $36,000 before tax lol I will be living large if i found a new job fast
legacy is a software system we used before rxnova it's not a company lol
@1kpy+1n8k7gvU SS&C did you a favor the place is total sh!t if you are not exceptional at Licking A$$ you go nowhere.. go with a Roth IRA you will have to do 2 separate accounts
@qud+1n8k7gvU, I got paid to the end of the pay period, 1 week for every year, and insurance until the end of the month. 90 days to exercise stock options or loose them, and now need to start a new IRA since they are kicking us out of the retirement plan.
Was there any speed-up of options/RSU's that had not yet vested, or were those all a wash?
DST here, I got 2 weeks for every year, 6 month equivalent of insurance and was paid out for the remainder of the mobth.
