I would have thought that DXC would have been in the magic quadrant of 'The worlds shittest IT services company'
DXC doesn’t have any so called Digital Workplace services, they use Microsoft, Service now (heavily customized ). Also. anything on a computer is Digital ! Stop over using the buzz word that just means it’s computerized !
So much winning, biggly winning with workplace.

I've often wondered... do these Gartner Magic Quadrants mean anything beyond PR hype? I've never found anything useful from them.

No one, not even the lead of Modern Workplace can define what it is ! DXC internally doesn’t use anything Modern

Modern workplace is the worst performing business in the whole DXC stack. They make the biggest losses and have the lowest impact.
They couldn’t sell that division for free. No disrespect to the staff there but it’s true.
On every call you go to they start off with the positives were winning this and that.
Yet they say but we're not doing well enough and we need ........ so we can't pay you.
If you are winning then the business is growing. Its as simple as that.
If the you are winning and the business is shrinking that means customers don't like you and you are losing.
Stop telling people to do training or career progression instead of pay as that does not pay for expenses.
The day people get paid the raises, it shows conviction that DXC are winning.
Until then it's just spin and telling stories.
Even Gartner recognizes, but still the employees will drag it down. Classic legacy company mentality.
- 3% decline in revenue and the worst segment results of any sub-group, book-to-bill lower than 1 (so further declines ahead) - let us know how bad it has to get before it is losing in modern workplace ... and there were 7 out of 17 vendors evaluated that made the magic quadrant so hardly a unique achievement
Modern Workplace in DXC is a bit like the Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail who after losing both arms and legs in combat suggest they call the duel a draw ...
