Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Just wondering 🤔

I was just wondering, do you think everyone that applied and took the assessment test is going to get a position? Or.. Will they use the assessment test or some other reason to weed out the ones they didn't want to keep anyway but didn't take the initial severance package?

Restructures are always done to cut payroll. Adding responsibilities and eliminating jobs. They also use it to eliminate long term employees and hire cheaper employees. Big cost cutting move. However They have to keep some older workers so they don't get sued for age discrimination.

The rdr should just let the dms pick the rtms for their markets

Restructures are how they tell the long term employees how much they appreciate all their dedication and years of service.

They use restructures to get rid of most of the long term employees and anyone else they want to remove

At least half the people are probably leaving so I would assume most will get a position

@OP super cringey there would not be an interview, and they would use an assessment test as the basis of a decision.

@OP I think this is exactly what they'll do. They know who they want and who they don't. So do I, and I don't want them, buh-bye!
