@dg 100%. h1b program needs to stop completely. And export tariffs should be added to make it difficult to offshore work.

Also watch out for fake job postings and fake interview screenings.

C level people could care less. They live based on bonuses and they could care less who they let go to get there.

This has been going on for decades. THEY DON'T CARE.

The standard of living is slowly degrading. Between outsourcing, printing money, deficit spending etc, your life will not be the same as the years roll on.

Make sure you think long and hard of how you spend your money. Save. Invest if you can. Having kids? The younger people are realizing that they can't afford it. Save like you've never saved before.

Right on cue: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fury-erupts-us-brand-fires-1600-employees-after-securing-thousands-foreign-worker-visas

I'm getting kind of bored of this. All of these Cxx just do the same thing over and over hoping for a different result. Can they actually just innovate and increase revenue?

I guess they were spending too much money and those existing employees weren't able to do the job, right? We need the overseas geniuses to save Microsoft?

@OP Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has announced the firing of 3,200 American employees.

Sharma, who was appointed by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, has also filed for thousands of H-1B visa hires this year.

Redmond has been known as Little India for over a decade. Microsoft, as well as Google, Amazon and Meta, has been pushing out US citizens in favor of H1Bs for 20 years. The USCIS needs to put an end to the H1B scam.
