Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

July is supposed to bring more cuts

That's the rumor I've been hearing, is it true?

@g9 I remember in Plano when "performance" was measured by who you played golf with, what kind of convoluted stupid Power Point you created, whose parties you went to on Saturday night and got drunk with, and how many miles you racked up on American Airlines going on useless and unessential travel to the FIELD . The place was a joke and the business struggled on inspite of all this BS, but not anymore !

Hopefully they cut thousands, PEP really needs to get back on track, their stock performance is a joke. It's down to $139 ???, where it was 6 long years ago and it's 2026 YTD return is negative 1.00% ???? Lots of unproductive deadweight and bad management there just making useless power points and pretending everyday.

until leadership change there won't be any other strategy to lift Pepsico stocks other than cutting jobs and moving roles to cheap India

Keep your resume current, document your work, and avoid emotionally overcommitting to a company that is openly budgeting for employee reductions.

Waiting to see who takes the VRP.

Then move protected folks into the newly vacated positions.

Then layoffs.
