Didn’t management have a day off

For Juneteenth the last couple years, you know, when we were trying to pretend to be hip and woke?

Juneteenth is celebrated the same weekend as father's day. This is largely done because majority of "them" are fatherless...other than that it's a wasted national holiday.

@an in other news, do we get a day off for Independence Day (you know, when we pretend that this country was founded on the self-evident truth that ALL men are created equal)? If that was true, we wouldn’t need Juneteenth.

@an OP if you were genuinely asking then leave out your snarky bias (you know, when we were trying to pretend to be hip and woke?).

OP here. I genuinely thought they had added it as an official management holiday. Don’t mean to offend. Was just asking.

No. A number of our vendors are off but management is not.

@a6 It is only a day off if you use your PTO.

I don't think it is a recognized, company wide day off. It is in the same category as Columbus Day
