Anyone hearing of layoffs within CRIU for analysts who work cases? This whole AI CoPilot bullsh-t is getting everyone on edge. Doesn't help when C14s consistently say "AI might be taking our jobs soon".

@cq your mother and then her mother. YM and YMM
@OP I wanna know which C14s are saying that… drop names! Or initials
The systems crash every single day and nothing has ever been done to help us. I think it’s safe to say when AI crashes, which it has been, we will take the blame.
Any C13s in this thread who think time is coming to an end? Have stopped caring about numbers etc?
@c8 He literally gets off on firing people which is why his turnover rate is what it is
@af Oh yeah my bad. I heard JM is really the fruit cake behind all this. He was the one who implemented the whole attestation thing when they pushed us back 2-3 days into office. Apparently he visited Tampa randomly, saw half the seats empty and flipped a sh-t.
@a9 initials of two directors
@aa we have daily production requirements- pace is how many cases per day. Yes the AI tool via copilot is used for all of AML. CRIU is a group of AML, they work cases in BAU, GITF, WC who reviews, sanctions etc
@ab NAM. I think I understand what it is now, I checked out ChatGPT lol
@aa Its primarily for US/NAM. What region are you in?
@a3, I have a few general questions. I have worked in the AML area, but I’m curious about the meaning of “CRIU” and which division or area in the country uses the term “pace” for production. I’ve never heard this term before. Is this AML for wealth? What’s the AI tool and will it be used for all of AML globally?
@a8 whats JM and JB? lol
JM and JB are the worst.
@a6 We still have 1:1s and department LOB meetings but smaller team meetings take place as needed here with us
@a5 they keep creating these stupid projects to make it seem like there’s a lot of work. My manager has started helping the team a little more when we ask questions, I think so it seems like they’re still needed. But there are no more team meetings. No more one on ones. That HAS to mean our time is coming to an end no? They just want us to clean up some SLAs. Even my manager has seemed to stop really caring about pace
@a3 Thats my thought too. That they might eliminate the C13s (SMEs) and have B12s pick up the slack with case reviews
@a2 it’s sad because the managers don’t even KNOW HOW to work cases. When they have to review a case they lose their absolute SH-T. like dude wtf do they do all day? My manager works like 5 hours a day it’s hilarious
Let’s be honest there is so much redundancy in CRIU AML. Why do we have an analyst working the case then a reviewer reviewing the case and a manager that can also review the cases? And now we can have AI check the case. And the reviewers just use the checker prompt so really they aren’t needed anymore so my guess is the case reviewers will get cut. Managers will be told to help AI with reviews. Might as well cut some managers and make the teams larger. Then eventually too many analysts working cases because we will be required to do 10 a day with all the AI tools.
@a1 yeaah bro these C14s are useless AF. They only know how to create chaos. They dont even work cases themselves LMFAO! My thoughts are that if they were to cut CRIU analysts, they would need to get the regulators approval because they haven't approved AI for full AML use
@OP dang are the C14s really saying that??? Sh-t I mean they’d go first right? With that new checker AI prompt. If we get let go I hope it’s sooner rather than later so we can get in the job market before others.
